We are recruiting a Medical Affairs Specialist for 6 months at our headquarters and biotech production site in Geneva, to support our team during a pic of activities. As Medical Affairs Specialist you are responsible for providing operational and scientific support to the Medical Affairs Lead Bacterial Lysates in the planning, execution and delivery of activities/projects on the assigned brands in in alignment with the global brand strategy, financial objectives, and compliance requirements.

 

Your main responsibilities are as follows: 

  • Manage Medical Affairs’ operational activities for Bacterial Lysates, including management of scientific and educational materials and events (e.g. symposia, advisory boards, on-line events) in collaboration with medical communication agencies and other stakeholders
  • Perform active project management of assigned deliverables in line with the Global Operational Brand Plan and in agreement with the Medical Lead
  • Create and maintain medical education and training materials on product, disease areas, and key publications for internal teams and external partners
  • Collaborate with the Medical Lead and Marketing team on internal meetings and organization of training sessions (including slide decks, presentations, and post-meeting minutes)
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and review promotional materials to ensure compliance, scientific accuracy and deliver medically fair and balanced messages on OM Pharma products
  • Use approved platform (Veeva Vault PromoMats ) for managing review and approval of medical and promotional content
  • Provide operational and scientific support to regional and partner 
  • Ensure safety signals are transmitted to Pharmacovigilance in compliance with OM Pharma SOP

 

To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:

  • Master’s or PhD in the field of Life Sciences or any similar scientific education
  • Previous work experience in operational Medical Affairs activities
  • Experience working at a local or global pharmaceutical company
  • Experience using Veeva Vault tool is a plus
  • Bringing medical and scientific knowledge in the respiratory or urinary infection therapy area would be a strong asset
  • Strong ability to communicate scientific data in a compelling way and strong business acumen 
  • Proven capacity to evaluate and use the medical literature for communication and educational purposes accurately and effectively.
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written) with, ideally, good command of French
