Process Equipment Engineer - Geneva

We are recruiting a Process Equipment Engineer based at our headquarters and production site in Geneva. Reporting directly to the Head of Equipment & Infrastructure Engineering, and working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, your mission is to manage technical projects related to the integration, revamping or optimization of production equipments and utilities.
Your main responsibilities are as follows:
- Ensure administrative monitoring and follow up of projects under your responsibility (financial, control, regulatory, documentary)
- Perform feasibility studies with OM Pharma project teams and external engineering services providers
- Lead the URS drafting for equipments under your responsibility and define technical specifications
- Liaise with suppliers as part of projects, ensure regular contact and adequate monitoring of studies and constructions
- Define and execute qualification strategies, and manage deviations issued as part of qualification activities
- Contribute to the transfer of production processes and training of the production teams
- Provide support for production in the investigation related to equipment problems
- Provide risk analysis and FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis)
- Identify and suggest optimization and explore improvement solutions with methodical tools
- Ensure up to date quality documentation, deviation management, root cause analysis if applicable and CAPA management
- Prepare and participate to Health Authorities inspections, audits and visits
To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
- Engineering Degree, ideally in the field of Mechanical Engineering and/or Automation, or similar educational background
- At least 3 years of experience as project or process engineer in the pharmaceutical (ideal), chemical or food industry
- Good knowledge of production methods and qualification/validation activities
- Fluency in French with good professional knowledge in English
