National Sales Manager - Field-based

Following a retirement, we are recruiting a National Sales Manager (field-based) reporting to our Swiss Affiliate in Fribourg. Under the direct supervision of the General Manager of OM Pharma Switzerland and in close collaboration with the National Sales Manager – Respiratory, your mission is to drive and optimize national sales performance for our CNS (Central Nervous System) and Urology/Gynecology products portfolio. 

 

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Establish and implement national CNS and Urology/Gynecology sales strategy 
  • Manage a team of 10 Sales Representative on the field: plan and organize the activities, set targets, implement guidelines, ensure accurate training on products and processes, deliver sales guidance and assist with any issues the employees may have
  • Contribute to key account activities and customer relationships management
  • Develop and implement customer growth plans, measurement, performance benchmarking, and performance gaps
  • Measure the department’s performance, weighing it against OM Pharma Switzerland’s targets and KPIs, in order to identify areas of improvement
  • Assure accurate use of the CRM system and identify any possible improvement
  • Align with fellow Respiratory Sales Manager for company-wide projects and relationships
  • Organize yearly sales meetings together with the Respiratory Sales Manager

 

This position is based on the field, on-site presence in Villars-sur-Glâne is required min. 1 day / week. 

 

To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:

  • Higher education in the field of Business Administration or Life Sciences, or similar 
  • At least 7 years of experience in Sales within the Pharma industry, including field activities as Sales Representative and Key Account management activities
  • Solid experience in team management with proven leadership skills, including sales force training and coaching activities 
  • French or German mother tongue with very good knowledge of the other language, and good knowledge of English 
  • Proficiency in all MS-Office applications
